About Maurielle
I know what it feels like to pour everything into work that matters — and still feel like you don't quite fit. I also know that feeling doesn't have to be the end of the story.
Over thirteen years I worked across all three levels of government, including a presidential appointment at NASA. I served on a town council. I worked inside a county executive's office. I joined organizations I believed in. I showed up fully, every time. And through all of it — the incompetent leadership, the fear-based cultures, the moments I advocated for myself and paid a price for it — I never stopped believing the work mattered. I never stopped believing people deserved better leadership than they were getting.
That belief is what brought me here.
The harder chapters of my career didn't break me — they educated me in ways no credential ever could. I learned firsthand what it costs to lead without support. What it feels like to be the only one in the room who thinks things could be different. What happens to your health, your confidence, and your sense of self when the system around you doesn't reflect your values. And I learned something equally important — that with the right support, clarity is possible. So is growth. So is becoming the kind of leader you always wished you had.
In 2020 I was certified as an Integral Coach by New Ventures West and completed the Teleos Leadership Development Program. I hold an ACC credential from the International Coaching Federation. I bring a rigorous, whole-person approach to my work — one that takes seriously not just what you do, but who you are while you're doing it.
In seven years of coaching I've worked with over 70 clients. I've coached people out of burnout and into clarity. I've helped leaders earn promotions, define their confidence, navigate career transitions, set boundaries, and rediscover themselves after loss. I've helped public sector professionals get clear on what they actually want — and step boldly toward it.
I also work with my own coach. Recently she helped me give myself permission to go all-in on this work — and to release the binary thinking that wanted to protect me but was keeping me stuck. I share that not as a footnote but as a conviction: the best coaches are always in the work themselves. Growth doesn't have an endpoint, and I never ask my clients to go somewhere I'm not willing to go myself.
My academic foundation is rooted in political science — a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary's College of Maryland, and the privilege of studying politics at Sciences Po in Paris. I understand the systems you're working inside, not from a distance, but from the inside out.
If you've ever looked around and thought it doesn't have to be this way — you're right. It doesn't. And that's exactly where we start.
